Getting you to the right care, first time

When you contact the practice, our reception team uses SMARTnavigation to direct you to the most appropriate care. It guides them through questions written by our own GPs, aligned to national clinical guidance and used across all our practices, so whoever takes your call asks the right questions, safely, every time.

Not everything needs a GP appointment. Sometimes the right person is a pharmacist, a physiotherapist, a nurse, or an urgent service, and sometimes it’s a GP the same day. SMARTnavigation helps our team spot the difference quickly, including symptoms that need urgent attention, so appointments go to the patients who need them most.

A member of our team always makes the decision and the booking. 

SMARTnavigation never diagnoses you and never decides your care on its own; it makes sure nothing important is missed when you tell us what’s wrong.
